To use cheatEngine with radiant defense, simply use the RaidantDefense conversion tool to convert your integer values (both when searching for values and when setting them) before using them with cheatEngine. Some one has written a cool tool called RadiantDefenseConversionTool that allows you to perform the same operation. It appears they just took the integer bits and xor'ed them. Because this is a game running an execution loop, the developers needed to pick a fast operation.
